Low iron fused magnesia and its application

When magnesite is calcined at 1800C, carbon dioxide completely escapes. Magnesium oxide forms a dense block of periclase. Magnesium is weighed and burned (also called sintered magnesia). This kind of low-iron fused magnesia has high refractoriness. Its main component is magnesia. Natural super magnesite ore is selected and calcined by flotation purification, light burning, fine grinding, high pressure balls and ultra-high temperature oil shaft kiln.

Reburnt magnesia is mixed with magnesium chloride solution, a small amount of talc powder, quartz sand and glass filament are added, and knotted to form. Fire resistance can reach 400 degrees Celsius, the highest can reach 1700 degrees. Magnesium reburning, good sintering degree, uniform chemical composition, stable quality. It is mainly used in open hearth, sintering hearth and ramming lining.
